Seattle is a vibrant city with a diverse population and all the amenities of a major metropolitan city. Seattle has been rated at the top of the list of America’s Most Livable Cities. Seattle is a hub of activity and has something for everyone. Tucked away in the upper left corner of the continental USA Seattle is close to more natural beauty than any other city in the nation. Inside the city limits are Alki Beach, Golden Gardens beach, the Arboretum and Lincoln Park are just a few of the outstanding parks. Remember Seattle is a tourist destination for many reasons.
Seattle’s economy is the home of Starbucks, Amazon, Microsoft, UPS, Paccar and a big player in the technology and biotech industries. For the sports fans the Mariners, Seahawks, Huskies, Sounders, and the Storm are teams with fanatical followers. Seattle is poised to add an NBA team as well as an NHL franchise in the near future. Within an hour’s drive to the east is Snoqualmie Pass with all the snow sports, continue east for about another half hour and find yourself in the desert of Eastern Washington. From Seattle travel west and about a 1 ½ hour drive is the Olympic National Park Rain Forest. The lush and dense temperate rain forest is fed by 150” of rainfall per year. A couple hours north takes you to wonderfully Canadian city of Vancouver.
